Blogger? What? Oh Yah ....

I set up this account about three years ago .... totally forgot that I had it. Recently, the blogging platform that I used (at one time) decided that they were going to sell their souls so that other could sell frilly dresses and latch hook rugs. So, I'be been trying to decide what to do with all of my content over there!? Well, after saving anything that I deemed important, I've jumped ship with the rest of 'em. While taking one last stroll through the pages of acquaintences I ran across someone's link to their Blogger page. I jumped over here and it dawned on me ... "Wait a minute ~ I think I have one of these Blogger things?!" And, lo' and behold, I put in my information (including my long, long, long ago password that I miraculously remembered) and up popped my page. Seems the hard part of migration was completed a long time ago. Sweet!!

I don't really have much to say or share. I have all kinds of things going on in my life, but I'm so out of practice when it comes to taking real-life and molding it into thoughts to share. I think I'll just keep it short and sweet for now. It would be nice to find some of the people that I followed from the other site, but it's been so long I don't know if I remember many of them. I'm sure I could find the ones that really rapt my attention ... if I tried.

My First Steps ...

Okay, so I've found my way into "Bloggersphere." I've had an ocassion to wander through Blogger lately, but mostly for the purposes of reading. I decided to create my own space here, not so much for the purposes of leaving much of anything, but more for the fact that it'll make it easier to follow the few people on here that I make a point of reading on a daily basis. I enjoy reading everything from political commentary to the introspective pieces that I've found here and there. Other people's perspectives intrigue me. So, that's all ... just lookin' around to see what I can find.
